NEW YORK, June 9 (DC Times Online) — President Donald Trump attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on June 8, where Fox News reported he drew a mixed reaction when shown on the arena video board during the national anthem.

Trump was shown saluting from a suite as some fans cheered and boos were louder, according to Fox News, which described the scene from the New York City arena.

Getty Images photographer Samuel Corum captioned an event image as showing Trump at the start of Game 3. Fox News reported the game was between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.

Trump appeared on the screen with his granddaughter Kai Trump on one side and Knicks owner James Dolan on the other, Fox News reported.

The response was different from the one Trump received at the College Football National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium, according to Fox News. The outlet reported that crowd cheered when he appeared on the Jumbotron there during the national anthem.

Fox News also reported that after the video shot of Trump ended, the arena display returned to NYPD officers holding flags on the court.
