ANKARA, Türkiye, July 8 (DC Times Online) — President Donald Trump said he will fly back to Washington, D.C., on an older Air Force One because the new presidential aircraft is being sent to a U.K. base for military members to tour, while also saying Iran has him at the top of its target list.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that the new plane would go to Mildenhall Air Force Base in the United Kingdom so service members could see it, and said he would take the former Air Force One “for old time’s sake.” He later told reporters after the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, that the aircraft would stop at several bases so troops could view it.

He also described the presidency as dangerous and said he is “No. 1 on the kill list for Iran,” adding that he is “their number one target.” Trump did not provide evidence for that claim during the remarks.
