TWIN FALLS, Idaho, Aug. 2 (Our Idaho Times) — Multiple people were killed and others were injured Saturday in a shooting at or near an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, police said. The suspected gunman was also found dead near the restaurant, and officials said there was no continuing threat to the community.

Twin Falls police responded to a shots-fired call at 2:29 p.m. at the restaurant on Blue Lakes Boulevard, according to police. Chief Matthew Hicks said officials were still notifying victims’ relatives and had not released an exact death toll, the suspect’s identity or a possible motive.

Twin Falls city spokesperson Josh Palmer said three people were killed and seven were injured, some critically. The reported total had not been reconciled with Hicks’ statement that an exact count was not yet available, and officials had not said whether the suspected gunman was included in the figure.

Several injured people were taken to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center. The FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were assisting Twin Falls police with the investigation.

In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder said an employee and customers were among those killed and expressed sorrow. Police continued processing the scene and investigating the suspect’s identity and motive.
